Intertainment Magazine Summary
Intertainment Magazine is a brand new, independent, online magazine and blog that focuses on: new music, film, TV, video games, comic book releases, and events.
We’ve been releasing monthly issues since we started up in October 2016, and are incorporating more and more interactive elements to our design each issue.
Since our launch we’ve arranged interviews with the likes of Frank Turner, July Talk and Slotface; covered live gigs, including Catfish and the Bottlemen, Blossoms, The Courteeners, Manchester International Film Festival and the Lakes Comic Art festival.
We aim to create a platform for newly released entertainment content that’s: honest, interesting, and introduces our readers to something new; whether that’s in our recommendations, our honest writing styles or in our art focused magazine layout.
What are we looking for?
We already have opportunities for live gig photography, interviews with musicians, directors and artists and much more in store for 2018.
We aim to create something a little different from the current journalism scene, moving away from listicles, sponsored content, and clickbait; instead focusing on strong, passionate content that allows writers to explore their own unique styles.
We also aim to feature much more original artwork, photography, and videography in 2017, with writers and our media team working together to capture live events such as Manchester’s huge music scene.
So if you’re an avid writer/ photographer/ videographer or graphic designer looking for opportunities to get your work out there and join a team of set on kick-starting a brand new independent publication get in touch via our Facebook, Twitter or email at Intertainmentmagazine@hotmail.com
