Dot to Dot Festival: Five Days North

We’ve been seeing Five Days North‘s name a lot in the last couple of months. With their new single Shapeshifters landing at the end of April, their energetic indie pop is promising to continue to push them forwards. Their set at Kosmonaut is resonably early in the day, but that didn’t keep keen Dot to Dot Festival attendees away with the basement of the Kosmonaut bar packed.

Their lead singer Darryl Messer is the band’s particular draw. A five piece like Five Days North have about a 90cm circle to move their feet around in during their set, but Messer makes use of every inch of that space and it’s that contagious enthusiasm and the whole band’s quirky appeal that wins over the Dot to Dot early birds.
